Thermal Control and Rigid Construction

Built on a ribbed Meehanite cast-iron bed with oversized roller guideways and oil-jacketed spindle cooling, the DNM 4500S reduces thermal distortion during high-speed operation. Its smart thermal monitoring compensates in real time for spindle expansion, preserving micron-level accuracy throughout long cycles.

Efficient Tool Handling and Flexible Automation

Featuring a 30-tool servo, double-arm ATC with optional expansion to 60 tools, fast 1.2 s tool-to-tool and 3.2 s chip-to-chip times reduce non-cut time. Its Renishaw probe-ready system, through-spindle coolant, and flood/chip conveyor further enhance compatibility with automated, lights-out production cells.

User-Friendly Control and Energy Efficiency

The machine utilizes the Fanuc i-Plus/iHMi interface with a 15″ touchscreen and EZ Guide i conversational programming. It offers Ethernet, MTConnect/OPCUA networking, and intuitive tool management.
